Personal history
The Raven Queen is one of the new gods, along with Sehanine and Torog , coming to power only in the Age of Gods. As mortals moved from simplistic savages they came to know death as more than something with fangs that came for them in the night. Death became a ritual, a ceremony, a celebration of life at it's end. Thus the Raven Queen found her disciples and power.
The Raven Queen lives in the Shadowfell in her Fortress of Memories . It is a place of abject sorrow, flooded constantly with the dying memories of mortals plucked at their time of death. No one really knows what the Raven Queens goals or motivations are, but her disciples in Osiria continue to feed her strength and she grows in power whenever her name is invoked in a dying breath.
