Session 8 recap - "House Upgrades, Interrogations Gone Bloody and Spidery Traps"

The party returned to Radivant after killing Wokt Slebish as part of the punitive expedition..
They contracted with Lyandra Jofiel of the Wood Tender's Guild to work on their home for a 50 gold piece retainer.
They discovered that Dutch could not heal Arya of a long-lasting poison as Poliel, Elder Goddess of Pestilence intervened to prevent it for some reason.
Genevieve had a dagger made from the violet crystals the part discovered in the mines"
Fi made contact with Eldaerenth Gracebow to research a book that the party found in Poliel's Temple.
Genevieve brought the party to Uriben Aniston's shop where Arya was able to procure a cure for her poisoned condition.
They interrogated Uhmed Bhannon. During the interrogation, Furkas was spooked and attacked him briefly. The party did learn that Uhmed had recently been to Kupptown and they decided, based on that, to travel there.
Along the way, they saw a giant spider chained to a spike in the ground. This turned out to be a trap which they triggered when they investigated it. They were attacked by a large party of orcs, kobolds, orc shamans and interestingly, a handful of Lesser Grievecrackles.
During this fight, Riley's sword, Misery, revealed a new capability - a kind of intimidating force that caused the kobolds to flee when Riley killed one of the orces in a particularly visious manner.
