Guild representatives are typically older individuals or individuals that suffered some kind of injury that prevents them from returning to the field. While many dedicated individuals will find a supporting role within the guild, those with lots of experience and charisma may be chosen to represent the guild at 'The Sanctuary''.

Career

Qualifications

Guild representatives are typically highly educated, and have an extensive history with the guild. They must also be good with dealing with individuals of all backgrounds.

Career Progression

Typically folk start their career as a low ranking member of the guild. They can spend many years sharpening their skills and crawling up the ranks. Many older guild members may retire as a guild representative when they still want to participate in the guild but are unable to continue working in the field. Younger guild members may become a guildmaster when they receive an injury that prevents them from doing the tasks they used to.

Guild representatives receive a decent salary for their position.

They receive many benefits, such as healthcare, and housing close to their office.

Perception

Purpose

A guild representative plays the role of middleman between the United Council of Tamerea, and the various guilds within the 'The United City'. They will lobby for the benefit of the guild, and will inform the Guildmasters of any new laws or decrees that may impact the guild.

They often have an amble supply of paper, ink, and writing feathers.

Workplace

Guild Representatives have an office at 'The Sanctuary' were they conduct most of their business. Occasionally they may return to the guild's main headquarters for certain tasks, but typically they will rely on other means to send letters back to the guild.

Dangers & Hazards

While a relatively safe job, there have been a few attempted assassination cases against guild representatives, mainly by those that have issues with the guild itself.
