Purpose / Function

As the 'Descendents' stole 'Ancient One' artifacts and knowledge they transferred everything to the lands surrounding the Broken Well. 'H.E.M.' had a library built specifically for all of his books, scrolls, tablets, etc to be stored in. Additional wings were added to the library to hold other kinds of artifacts, turning the building into a library/museum. Eventually this building would be known as the Banned Library, due to all the illegal knowledge it contained.

Alterations

The original building was built by the 'A.O.'s', but had fallen into ruins after the near by structure siphoning magic from a well broke. the 'Descendants' reclaimed these ruins, and rebuilt the structure into a library/museum to hold all of their ill gotten relics.

History

When 'The Descendants' first discovered the 'Broken Well' they were quick to claim the area as their own, and built their own settlement in the surrounding area. One of he first buildings they built was a library to house all of their looted artifacts.
As officials realized that all of the books that the 'Descendants' were stealing involved those involving illegal magic such as necromancy, blood magic, and chimeric magic and were being brought to the same place, they panicked. Any remaining books they feared that the 'Descendants' would steal were either locked down, or destroyed, and a high bounty was placed on either the return of the stolen books, or the destruction of the library.
