Aasimirs are supernaturally beautiful humanoids that are born among the different Kinfolk. All have one or more of the following features; metallic hair, jewel-like eyes, and halos. Some individuals may also have feathered wings, antlers, a third eye, and/or markings all over their body.

Aasimir tend to have extended lifespans, and often outlive their parents.

Common Customs, Traditions and Rituals
Often Aasimir are taken from their parents at birth and are raised to fulfill specific roles in society, such as religious leaders, diplomats, ect. They are often taught from a young age that their life is not their own, instead it is a gift given to the people by a god or spirit, and they must do everything that they can to protect and care for the community they were born to.
Most Aasimir end up taking on the mantle of guardian and caretaker of their community, using their status as Aasimir to fix injustices and ease suffering.
Some individuals will rebel against the future and expectations people have for them, hating that their life is not their own. Often they will take to a life of crime in order to gain control of their lives.
History
The origins of Aasimir and why they are randomly born to Kinfolk is a mystery that has been debated for eras and several theories have been proposed. One of the most common theories is that they are individuals that were blessed by a god or spirit at birth. Another theory is that they are created by the mysterious 'Angels' of the 'Gold Moon' as a way of trying to influence Kinfolk. A less popular theory is that they are just individuals with very strong 'Ancient Ones' characteristics.
