Pantheon of Change
The Pantheon of Change, sometimes simply refered to as the Younger Gods, is the consortium of the not primordial deities, that reformed the primordial, elemental and chaotic world of Langraan into the more balanced and life-giving world that it is now. It rivals with the primordial Usha Pantheon, that represents entities and deities that lived and ruled over the world of Langraan before the Younger Gods appeared. The two pantheon walk a thin line between cooperation and distrust.
The Pantheon of Change was once guided by Arxon; after his vanishment, as Ercon refused the leadership, Iolatan became the new overseer. The pantheon consists of the following gods: Arxon, Iolatan, Kinara, Ercon, Keltoras, Xeres, Serk Klongrun, Orolin Firebeard, Eydreen, Ruuhlsh, Aloor Warrshmirr and Roohl.
Despite of the various beliefs and goals of both the pantheons and the divers deities there are still many similarities and over the aeons groups and subgroups have formed in order to pursue common goals. The most disruptive topic is the continuative dealing with humanoid-kind; there are mostly three different points of view:
The Protector Pantheon argues that humanoid-kind needs to be guided by words and council, they tend to communicate more with their clergy that the other pantheons, which though not always works as they wish or predict. Arxon was the head of the panthon until his disappearance; Ercon was supposed to take over, but he declined and Kinara become the new leader figure.
The Pantheon of Patience under the lead of Iolatan takes a more neutral or rather a more observant stance. The pantheon tries to observe the world and let humanoid-kind lead itself; only in times of great danger or when other entities manipulate the strings of fate, the Pantheon of Patience intervenes, though not nessecarily directly.
Lastly there is the Division of Cunning, whose member prefer to keep there motivation secret and hidden, as an unknown agenda is less likely to be thwarted. Since the betrayal of Keltoras and his subsequent banishement the other deities keep a closer look on the Division of Cunning. Mistrust reigns for the secretly plotting members, for who knows if another deity might be betraying the pantheon.
