Arxon

Arxon is the greater lawful good deity of justice. Together with Iolatan he created the first dwarfs, Arxon making their bodies and Iolatan infusing them with life. Known as the Virtuous One he stands for morality and honesty; many just juridical systems try to represent the long arm of Arxon in their adjudications. In times of battle he tries to balance for his brother Ercon, who often rushes too fast and too lax into the heat of battle, surveying the battlefield with his pet raven Garoh; a large raven with red eyes. Arxon beliefs that mistakes are natural phenomena and that everyone deserves a second chance in life.

Tragically in the year 205 of the Third Age Arxon was duped by the god of trickery Xeres; he was poisoned and subsequently impaled by an obscure weapon. Xeres went further ahead driving the weapon, with Arxon still punctured by it, into the island of Goldhaven, destroying it in the process. Garoh the raven managed to escape and fly away to get help. From this point on in history Arxon completely disappeared. He is nowhere to be found and doesn't answer to prayers anymore. To this day Xeres is an illegal deity on dwarven territory and infringements are heavily punished.

Depiction

Arxon is often depicted as a male dwarf with grey hair and a long braided beard. He wears black chain mail wielding a warhammer with the dwarven runes symbolizing truth. On weapons and armor Arxons symbols are either the rune of truth or ravens.

Holy Day

Arxons Holy Day was on the 15th each month, at which for example in dwarven society every dwarf would take the day off and go the temple to pray.
