Roohl

Roohl represents with his jolly behavior the cheerful view on life. He is a lesser chaotic good deity encouraging positivity and bringing a smile to the many over-worked humanoids. He values and respects all life and for that despises war, which in times induced some conflict between Ercon and him. Though most of the time they try to respect each others opinion and sphere of influence. It was Roohl, who teached the first humanoids to dance, to sing and how to brew with various plants and fungi a concoction so strong it could even make an elf relax a little. With the catastrophes of the Third Age, especially the disappearance of Arxon there was not much he could do. Hardened over the disasters his temples became a lot less frequented, but that never stopped him to try to do his part and help the communities to stay together. With the banishment of the Old Ones the people started returning to their god of laughter. His portfolio include alcohol, dance, friendship and laughter. His domains are Humility, Life, Joy and Community.

Depiction

Roohl is often depicted as a male dwarf with blond hair and a long twin-braided beard. He mostly only wears trouser. On weapons and armor Roohls symbol is a fungus.

Holy Day

Roohls official Holy Days are once the trimester at the formal end of each season; more precisly on the 27th of February, May, August and November. In Silvershield grand feasts occur on these days and as nearly everybody takes part in them, it is used by many dwarfs to make new acquaintances and form new ties. More zealous followers like the Ökniröi venerate Roohl on every 7th day of the week.
