The Old World (Europe | Africa | Asia | Pacific Ocean)

Alaxia is the northern continent of the New World, more or less corresponding to what we'd call "North America." Much like Cabralia, it can be roughly divided into a Moorish and non-Moorish half.

Anglo-Scottish Alaxia

While the Umayyad Caliphate in New Andalusia may be Alaxia's dominant power, most of the continent is a tangled patchwork quilt of territories belonging to England-Scotland.   Scotland was one of the first European kingdoms to seriously settle the New World, and has several non-contiguous territories in Alaxia. The oldest and most developed of these is Alexandria.
  • The Vinland Strait
  • Port Lairge, Alexandria's largest city.
England, originally a lesser player, settled the Atlantic coast rather than Caribby (hotly contested at the time) or the north. New England's borders are somewhat vague, but include the following:
  • Arkham, slightly north of OTL Boston, across the bay from Innsmouth
  • Gotham, built on the Miskatonic River
  • Innsmouth, built at the end of Cape Cablejaw

Moorish Alaxia

The Umayyad Caliphate in New Andalusia: The largest, strongest, and northernmost state of the Moorish New World. Axamalla: Built north of the Vadelquebir River.   Mexico: At the end of the Moorish Fitna, the Grand Principality of Mexico was generally agreed to be the most promising Moorish successor state.
  • Almedina de Mexico, the capital city and former heartland of the Moorish world.
