The Three Kingdoms

The settled area of southern and central Anaria  that includes The High Kingdom, The Great Kingdom and Ferrondy, as well as the contested region between them normally referred to as the Midmark or The Petty Realms, is normally referred to as the Three Kingdoms, or the land of the Three Kingdoms. It is a useful term that encompasses a region that has a fairly similar ethnic profile (mixed elven and human - the Salelkar Elves culture), political systems (feudal kingdoms with a historically elven ruling class) and social origin (refugees from S'el).
