Personal history
Born into the social order of the Stone Abbey, Iebrus developed a love of cooking at an early age. He trained diligently in flavors and cooking methods, always seeing the science behind the art, experimenting with technique and materials. One day, this understanding of food and its processes helped him master the art of spell matrices and spellcasting.
Iebrus worked well into his adult years as a renowned cook in Stone Abbey, but always harbored great love for a half-orc monk, Urgran. Urgran's absolute focus on combat training and the ascetic life left no room in his heart for Iebrus. Ultimately, Iebrus left Stone Abbey to heal his unrequited love, and followed stories of wizards and magic all the way across the desert to Ioth Academy , befriending the Duneriders and learning their recipes along the way.
He entered the school as an adult learner, rather than one of the young students, serving first as a caretaker while he studied magic. His profound sense of taste and knack for delicate cooking and baking helped him progress quickly. Ultimately he was accepted as a magus of the school, and went on to teach Spell Matrices to fifth years. He still spends a great deal of time in the kitchen overseeing the food of Tarslemoore Hall.
