A Huldra wood elf from the Fomhor Woods who teaches World Studies at Ioth Academy. Formerly one of the all-important Treiors of the Autumn Court, Bethrynna forsook her position among the huldra after studying at the Academy. She still wears the traditional golds, reds and oranges and beautiful living ornaments befitting her position, and carries herself with delicate grace as she educates the fifth-year students at the school about the ways of the world.

Born to an important family of one of the Treiors of the Fomhar Woods, Bethrynna was raised to take one of the four Autumn Mantles upon coming of age. She approached her studies with zeal and confidence, possessed of natural magics that made her a captivating potential leader. But her path to leadership took a turn when she fell in love with a fairy of Niamh of the Golden Hair's court. Captivated by an enemy of her people, she suddenly realized that she wanted freedom in life, and left her home to study magic at Ioth Academy, hoping to find a way to be with her beloved without compromising.
Her innate knack made her a natural fit, and her courtly education lent her a sense of outside perspective that, once she earned the title of Magus, easily flowed into a role teaching World Studies. She brings fifth-year students up to speed on world events and the geopolitical realities of life during the Demonic Imperium with wit and tact befitting a noble of the wood elves. Nontheless, part of her heart lingers in The Otherworld, and she has not forgotten the one she left there in fairy boughs beside sparkling sapphire streams...
