The eben petra or archangels are considered more exalted than standard angels, blessed with powers and authority beyond the average. They are frequently identified by their larger wings and a weapon which they can ignite via telekinetic ability. Eben petra literally means "stone stone" from eben, the Duafric word for stone or rock and petra, the Greek.
