Zelfira Faeris

Zelfira Faeris first made a name for herself defending Heartsport in 630. Without her, the city would not have held out under the orc assault, and would likely have been lost. She single-handedly killed over a hundred orcs and goblins, allowing the time it took for the Tocurian army to arrive and turn the tide. Stories of her ferocity in battle are still common in Heartsport to this day; you can't spend an evening in one of the taverns without hearing a song honouring Zelfira.
Later in her life, she spent some time in Avalyra. Some say she was under orders from the queen, but others believe she merely wanted a break from living under the dynasty. Whatever the case, she most notably spent several months fighting in Ironbound Arena, where she had an unbeaten run of a dozen fights. She even became the second person to ever defeat Ulfirr Listoff. After she defeated the champion, Zelfira bowed out from the arena, making her way back to Tiarun.
Recently, she was a key figure in the Tocurian assault on Knightshold in 787. Her magic and martial prowess is praised as one of the largest reasons for their victory that day. However, shortly after the attack, she disappeared, and hasn't been seen since. Some say she is still working undercover for the dynasty, others claim she went rogue, pursuing her own goals and desires.
While Zelfira's magic abilities are prodigious, she is typically known for her skill with a blade. She fights with a unique sword, jagged reddened metal in a twin prong blade. Rumours persist about it being the legendary Valdir's Talon, a weapon said to house a fragment of the god's own power.
