Yreus' Wall

Appearance

Yreus' Wall is an ancient, dark iron heater shield. The front of the shield has designs made from the reddish metal, malum, along with a large gem embedded in the centre. The gem, a large fist sized ruby, constantly glimmers as if flames dance inside it. Several vicious looking jagged details line the outside of the shield, and the bottom edge is adorned with two spikes capable of impaling opponents.

History

Very few records can be found of the existence of Yreus' Wall, with what few legends that can be found speaking of the Warmaster crafting it for one of his champions during the world's creation. Some legends tell of it being granted to Tycho Surinus, the human champion and wielder of The Warblade of Yreus, while others are less certain as to whom it was granted. What is known, however, is that the shield found its way to a skilled paladin sworn to Yreus before they, and the shield, disappeared from records around 710. It is suspected they were killed in battle, and lie entombed in a place of worship of Yreus.

Powers

Yreus' Wall bestows the bearer with some of the Living Titan's own domineering presence, allowing them to command and dominate their enemies. These effects force opponents to focus on the Wall's wielder, and empowers them with every creature under the shield's effects. In addition to the enchantments placed upon the Wall, the malum metal used to create the detailing on the shield's face is sufficient enough to cause issues for celestial creatures the bearer is in conflict with, as well as protecting them from radiant energies.
