Orc

The vast majority of orcs in Amion make their home in the Northern Reaches, as part of the various Orc Tribes that populate the plains. Plenty also live in the towns of Whitemill and Branpool, with some tribes having close ties with the settlements.
Elsewhere in the world, small communites and individuals can sometimes be found around the Kingdom of Avalyra, though they typically find little acceptance anywhere but in combat arenas, where they often become some of the most well known fighters. Under the Tocurian Dynasty, orcs are much more welcome than in Avalyra, with tribes like the Wild Fang having close dealings with Heartsport. Many orcs find their way south and join the Tocurian army.

Biological Traits

While the average life expectancy of orcs is around 50 years, this is misleading, because they rarely die of old age. They can easily live over 80 years, some even approaching a centurym if not for outside factors. However, the nomadic, and typically warlike and competitive lifestyle they lead brings many early deaths amonst orcish kind.
Few orcs stand under 6ft tall, even the females, and the largest of them can easily reach over 8ft.
