Space is the boundless three-dimensional extent in which objects and events have relative position and orientation. It gives rise to geometry, defining the rules of direction, distance and perspective that the
Universe adheres to.
Space is one of the
six laws of creation which first shaped and arranged the universe at its creation. Space is closely linked to the laws of
Magic and
Time -- together these three aspects define how the universe is arranged into a perceivable and changeable reality.
Physical reality
The
Universe exists as a single three dimensional cosmos. No alternate realities have been discovered by planeswalkers -- or gods, for that matter -- but the universe is paralelled by the
Transitive Planes, that are mainly used for travel. Most notably, the ethereal dimension of
Purgatory overlaps the entire universe, facilitating the traversal of the
souls of the dead to the
Afterlife.
Small pockets of mirror dimensions can also exist through powerful magic, as is the case with the mirror dimensions of
Tír-na-nÓg and
Samhain.
