Norgales

Norgales is a duchy in the northeast of Caraegwyn. It is bordered in the east by the nation of Aredhen and in the north by the Black Mountains, beyond which lies the uncivilized frontier of Vormark. A single mountain pass known as the Gap of Alyth connects Caraegwyn to Vormark. The mountain pass and the larger arling of Alyth is governed by House Blackwell.
Most of the area of Norgales is covered by woodlands with strips of windswept plains and rolling meadows in between. Hunting and forestry are common.
