Kala-Hera Character in Amanor | World Anvil

Kala-Hera

Goddess of water; she whose spirits dwells in every ocean, sea, river, stream, pond, lake and drop of rain

Kala-Hera is the Goddess of Water and one of the most widely worshipped deities on Amanor.   Her domain is the ocean -- and that domain is vast -- but also rivers and lakes; Kala-Hera is almost always worshipped in maritime cultures and coastal communities. She is held responsible for all the bounties and perils of the ocean, and thus she is both cursed and thanked for many events in peoples' lives.   The Empyreal Faith describes Kala-Hera as a cold and uncaring deity, but one that must be worshipped lest you incur her merciless wrath. Unlike the other three elemental deities, Kala-Hera is not depicted as a sky-scraping colossus, but a human-sized figure in a tattered robe, dark and intimidating.
