Audrea Whent Character in Amanor | World Anvil

Audrea Whent

Serah Audrea Whent is the newest addition to the order of the Kingsguard. She is a lowborn adventurer that received a knighthood only recently, and most of the nobles in Caernarfon treat her with disdain and contempt on the account of her crude manners and seeming lack of respect.   Serah Audrea's admission to the Kingsguard was the cause of great political uproar among the high society of Caraegwyn. She came to the capital city as a lowborn adventurer but quickly dazzled the court with her uncompromising attitude and honorable manners. During the course of only a single week Audrea unhorsed Ser Grewain Serwin in the tournament joust, shamed the famed knight Ser Brynden Thorne in unarmed combat, collected not one but two royal bounties for accomplished knightly deeds and prevented the murder of Lord Reginald Chester at the hands of foreign assassins. It was the latest of these accomplishments that earned her a knighthood, and to the shock of most nobles, the newly anointed Lady Audrea Whent was immediately invited by King Ulric to join his Kingsguard. Audrea was given a mansion as well as a decent stipend in addition to her knighthood, but rumors say that she seems to have hired no servants nor comissioned any renovations to her property.
