Material Components
water and incense are burned at a temple and then when the spell is needed more water is sacrificed. some mages use ribbons to store up multiple spells but they don't always work or wok well.
Gestures & Ritual
the ritual phrase Identity property is used the spell gains strength based on the previous sacrifices given as part of the same ritual which ends once the spell has been burned through. this works via the commutative property. some mages use hand gestures to help guide the spell once cast but it's not needed
