Doren
Doren is a small village of approximately 450 residents located in in the far southwest corner of Lefrendel Province in the Cymelian Empire. Being positioned at the southwestern tip of the Lefrendel Peninsula, Doren is the southernmost settlement in all of the Cymelian Empire.
The residents of Doren are primarily fishermen and farmers, exporting food resources to the local town of Lindow which they exchange for ores and other resources or raw materials. This people are down to business, used to working with their hands. But this life of labor hasn't made the Dorenite unfriendly. They are welcoming to visitors and merchants, though they will behave with some curiosity towards non-human races.

Almost entirely human and almost entirely peasants, with a few middle-class families owning larger businesses and farms.
Defences
A single squad of the Imperial Guard (10 soldiers, 1 Sergeant) is stationed out of the barracks at the town hall. They protect the village from small wandering beasts that occasionally come in from the sea, coast, or grasslands in the vicinity of Doren. And they also handle citizen disputes and issues.
Industry & Trade
The majority of Dorenites spend their days fishing off the coast or farming at one of the handful of family farms. The main agricultural products are simple: corn and potatoes. But they also include a small variety of other vegetables.
Fish and agricultural products are exchanged with the local town of Lindow for money and other resources.
Points of interest
As a result of its distance from much of the rest of the empire, visitors to Doren are relatively few and far between, save for merchants and a few travelers interested in seeing the southern coast of the empire from a quiet location. The points of interests and activities are quite limited in this part of the province.
Geography
The center of the town is near to the coast and the scent of fish blows in off the coast where the fisheries are located. There is frequent medium gusts of wind on the coast which slows down a bit further inland to the couple of major farmlands in the village vicinity.
Climate
The climate of this peninsula tends to a little bit of a colder climate, leading to a shorter but rich growing season in fertile soil.
Despite the focus on fishing in the village, due to its low population and limited industrial advancement, the water along the coast is quite clear.
