From its humble beginnings of The Luminary Archive Society , the Ashen Kingdom began with The Phoenix at the head, with the White Dragon and Luminary Council at her side. Sam moves more towards a powerful leader and active force as the The Ashen Kingdom grows as an empire. The Empire grows and after over 1,000 years, encompasses continents. Through technological, cultural, and magical developments, the Empire prospers for over 3,000 years. As the Phoenix continues her work and withdraws into her studies, however, the Empire devolves into mortal concerns and tribulations. After a catastrophe that's later revealed as a project run by the Phoenix, the White Dragon begins to work with the burgeoning Rebellion, seeking the end of the Ashen Kingdom. The White Dragon and the Phoenix face each other in battle, culminating in final blow that scatters the essence of the Phoenix across the stars, and leaves the White Dragon in a state of preservation, until she's discovered by Nes Bruviel, Mona Megistus, and Eri Peregrine Sheherizade Amalthea on their quest for the Search for the Glass of Edom.
At the height of its power, The Ashen Kingdom spans the entirety of the continent of Alymatrea. The Citadel of the Phoenix acts as the seat of power, and by the time the Kingdom spans its furthest, has become a flying fortress city from which The Council of Flames and The Phoenix work and rule.
This expansion prompts the creation of the Vahnoan Accords , though their efforts to combat the Ashen Kingdom would've gone as poorly as all previous attempts, had the Phoenix not fallen before they could enact their alliance. Even then, her actions were swift and merciless, destroying the leadership of the Accords in a single blow, even as she fought the White Dragon.
