Sena River
Geography
The Sena River begins its journey deep in the Dark Kingdom of Arle, flowing from a underground grotto, which has long been fashioned into a Nemeton dedicated to Sequana, the goddess of the River.
The River is divided into five courses
The Little Sena, the narrowest and steepest course, from the source to the confluence of the Yonne, a river used primarily for the floating of log rafts of lumber.
The High Sena leads from the Yonne to Per-Ys, the capital of Gallia, widening considerably.
The High Sena is navigable by large barges
The Crown Basin - A river basin around the Gallian capital
The Crown Basin is navigable by large barges and sail-powered rivercraft.
The Low Sena - A wide, flat stretch from Per-Ys to Rotomagus, the capital of the Duchy of La Manche
The Low Sena is navigable by large barges and sail-powered rivercraft.
The Maritime Sena, a river mouth emptying into the Mor Breizh.
The Maritime river is navigable by seagoing ships, despite Rotomagus's inland location.
