Feth Fiada

Feth Fiada, or Faerie-Fog, a a physical manifestation of the Hud, the magical energy that flows through Alvez, starting in the Faewylde of Old Elfriche, passing through The Veil as it spreads across the world. At its core, Feth Fiada is magical Foyson at its purest, most tangible form, representing not the essence of a discrete entity, but rather the flow of the Hud itself.

Manipulating Feth Fiada

In the art of Huderezh, Feth Fiada is commonly viewed as the simplest source from which to draw Druidecht, fashioning its raw elemental power into channeled magic. For those without personal glamour, Feth Fiada, along the the Gaoithe Sidhe serves as the primary source of ready magical power.

Manifestation

The Hud physically manifests in a number of ways, including the aurora-like lights carried by the Gaoithe Sidhe, but its most recognizable form comes in the form of the Feth Fiada, a misty fog that rolls across Alvez in roiling banks and wispy, smokelike tendrils.
Unlike the vibrantly coloured Winds, Feth Fiada is typically colourless, ranging from white to grey. It acts similar to mundane fog and water vapour, appearing as mist, fog or clouds.

Localization

Feth Fiada is naturally present in most of Alvez ranging from thin wisps of misty tendrils clinging to the ground to opaque voids of white fog filling the sky and obscuring vision to a few meters. This fog is especially thick in areas of Bleed, where the Veil has been torn, but can be found deeper in both Faerie and Bedouar as well. Most crossings into the Bleed cross instances of Feth Fiada, leading many to consider it a physical manifestation of the Veil itself.
Feth Fiada is most visible at Dawn and Dusk, as well as in liminal spaces (Mountains, Islands, etc.)
