Feth Fiada

Feth Fiada is a quintessential feature of Faerie, a thick misty fog that obscures vision to a significant degree. While naturally occurring, it can be summoned as any element through the application of Druidecht, the raw elemental power of Arkane. Arkanists and alchemists surmise that Feth Fiada is the natural state of glamour, a form of raw Foyson that clings to magically capable creatures, obscuring and altering sensory perception within its influence. In the hands of a capable arkanist, therefore, it can be called upon like an element to cast complex illusions, or even allow a form of shape-shifting in the reality-altering mists.

Localization

Feth Fiada is naturally present in most of Faerie, particularly the Faewylde, ranging from thin wisps of misty tendrils clinging to the ground to opaque voids of white fog filling the sky and obscuring vision to a few meters. This fog is especially thick in areas of Bleed, where the Veil has been torn, but can be found deeper in both Faerie and Bedouar as well. Most crossings between Faerie and Bedouar cross instances of Feth Fiada, leading many to consider it a physical manifestation of the Veil.
