Drogon's reign followed the reconquest of Letha following the Fomorian interregnum, the sudden death of his powerful father propelling the minor Drogon into the ducal throne. Drogon's duchy fell between the holdouts of the followers of Hastings Fireforged and the machincations of Alan II's former allies, most prominently Fulk II, Dug of Anjev.
Ultimately, the young Drogon was poisoned by Fulk, allowing the Anjevin backed Hoel I, Drogon's bastard half-brother to assume the throne.
