Personal history

Clovis I is widely regarded as the first "True" King of Gallia, unifying the conflicting tribes and petty Kingdoms after the fall of the Remusan Empire and destroying the Imperial garrison at Soissons, the last bastion of Imperial rule in the Western Realms.
During is reign, Clovis established sovereignty over what would become Gallia, Anjev and Akitainia, expanding into Breizh and Arle by his death.
Clovis was also a significant convert to the Faith, leading to its adoption by the majority of Gallia. While his conversion was largely a political decision, it dealt a massive blow to the dogmatic alternatives of the Southern Church
