Anatomy
Humans are literally the base definition of humanoids. Two arms, two legs, one head, bipedal, basic structure with nothing really standing out as notable.
Genetics and Reproduction
Humans have standard reproduction. Male and females mate and the female bears the child for 9 months before giving birth.
Growth Rate & Stages
Humans grow for the first 25 years of their life. After age 25 they have finished both mental and physical development and the changes after this are very subtle.
Ecology and Habitats
Humans tend to prefer warm climates, but nothing too extreme. They are found across pretty much every section of the world, excluding the extremes like The Ashlands and The Boreal Front. Humans tend to settle down in their areas, create cities and make the land their own. However further north and in some of the harsher environments in the Thunderplains they tend to be more Nomadic.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Humans are omnivores through and through. They need a broad diet with many proteins, grains, fruits, etc.

Humans tend to slow down as life goes on. They are not the most resilient race, however they are by no means weak.

Social Structure
Humans tend to follow the person they put the most trust in. Be it the person with the most money, or the person who has the highest connection to the gods. Wealth is a major factor however in following, as many humans tend to be greedy.
Geographic Origin and Distribution
Humans in Aluvanda were widespread, could be found in most regions and, in general, were fierce and disagreeable, which could sometimes lead certain other races to view them with contempt. They were renowned for their diversity and ambition, and although they lacked specialization, they could excel in many areas.
Average Intelligence
The average human is the peasant, who has very low intelligence. However old well trained humans have proven to be highly intelligent.
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Humans have nothing notable about their perception. They rely on their sense of sight, smell, and hearing. They have no dark vision.

Major Organizations
The largest and most important factions of humans right now are The Alkanian Empire and The Church of the Light. The Alkanian Empire represents the unity and power that can come from a united empire of humans, with their seat of power being The Golden Heart. This gives them an almost mythical claim to power amongst humans, as does the fact that The Church of the Light works hand in hand with them, claiming they are the next Golden Empire. This has caused many smaller human factions to begin to look towards them as their future leaders, however The Alkanian Empire has yet to expand to them. This has not stopped the other smaller kingdoms to fully support them. There are very few major factions past these two at this point in time however.
Beauty Ideals
Humans prefer someone that is physically fit and fits with in their desired looks. Every human is unique in this regard, with some looking for brighter, longer hair and others looking for shorter darker hair. Skin color matters as well, with some preferring fair skin and others preferring darker skin.
Average Technological Level
Humans at one point, were considered the peak of magical knowledge and technology in the past. However they have since fallen from this point after The Shatterpoint.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
The main language of humanity is Common. However High Alkanian has been growing as more and more humans look to The Alkanian Empire as their leaders, and seek to learn this language.
Common Etiquette Rules
It is often seen to be very rude to refuse a gift humans offers to give as most often, these gifts are very very important to them and have days worth of work put into them by the human. Days that they see as precious.

The dress code for humans varies greatly depending on the region.

Burial of the Dead, a formal marriage ceremony.
Common Taboos
Nudity in any form is often seen as crass and barbaric to humans. Inbreeding is also considered taboo. The act of cannibalism and murder of their own kind.
History
Humanity is said to have originated within The Golden Heart, specifically in The Heartlands. They are said to have been made by Pelor the King of Light and Erathis the Queen of Light within a ancient grove somewhere in The Heartlands. This would place humans some time after The Spark, but before The Shatterpoint. All that is known is they have existed before written records and are often considered to be one of the first races on the material plain.
Regardless of their precise origins, humans have always been undeniably successful. While they are not the only dominant race on Aluvanda, they tend to always return to a point of dominance no matter what has happened in the past. However due to how wide spread they are, they are almost eternally fractured and divide, broken up into dozens of ethnic offshoots.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Humans often view them selves as superior to other races, with many of the more uneducated looking down at races that are dissimilar to their own like goblins, orcs, gnolls, etc. However this practice is often done out of fear and superstition towards other races and the history of these races. Thanks to The Church of the Light, out right racism is looked down upon highly. In fact there are many cross breed spieces made, such as half-elves, half-orcs, genasi, tieflings, etc.

Humans are one of the most common races seen across Aluvanda right now. They can survive comfortably across most of the world, with the extreme heat of The Ashlands and the bitter cold of The Boreal Front being the major exceptions.

Average Physique
Humans tend to be in very good shape, with only wealthy humans tending to exhibit poor physique. This is because they are at a constant state of needing to work to survive, always pushing to make enough money or food for their next meal and to improve their lives and social standings.

Humans range in a variety of colors, from pale white to ashen gray. Their hair can be seen from a fiery red to a silvery blond.
