Gelaßenheiten Bundenregeirung
The Gelaßenheiten Bundenregeirung is the governmental body of Gelaßenheit and is comprised of the Hörfäh, the Phantast, and the Referenten. The Gelaßenheiten Bundenregeirung is a federal parlimentary republic that holds elections every 5 years, the most recent being held in 595 A.I.
Gelaßner Parteien vom Bundesregierung (Catresaelic: Gelaßner Political Parties) are the political parties that make up the political landscape of Gelaßenheit. The political parties had been fully dismantled after Die Hysterie vom 427, and as such, the current parties were founded in the following decade. While there are dozens of parties, the vast majority of them receive less than 0.5% of the vote and generally do not earn any seats in the Gelaßenheiten Bundenregeirung. Due to that, the populous generally only looks towards the top five parties:
- Das Einvernehmen (Catresaelic: The Ammicable Arrangment Party) has earned the largest share of votes for the past 89 years, and have been in a coalition with Die Felsenfasten for 142 years. This coalition has led to it being the ruling government for the past 142 years. They have a commitment to maintain the current governmental structure and their relations with Provecta. While Gelaßenheit's relations with Provecta are extremely profitable, due to their ongoing encroachment and continued effort to push their power and religion onto Gelaßers as well as past events such as Die Hysterie vom 427, they maintain a neutral stance towards them in all other aspects. They limit imports to just what they need, and continue to push for Gelaßenheit independance and power.
- Die Felsenfasten (Catresaelic: The Steadfast) has been the second most popular party for the past 89 years, and had been the most popular for the 80 years prior. Having formed a coalition government in 510 with Das Einvernehmen, Die Felsenfasten has effectively been in power since 430 A.I. Their beliefs towards government oversight and infrastructure align very closely with Einvernehmen's, but differ when it comes to their perspective on military funding. Die Felsenfasten aim bolster Gelaßenheit's militaristic power and reach to better protect it's assets, land claims, and culture from Provecta.
- Partei für Machterweiterung (Catresaelic: Party for the Expansion of Power), generally shortened to PfM, platforms on a pro-nationalist anti-Provectan basis, wherein the PfM seeks to restructure Die Notwehretruppe von Gelaßenheit into a state-of-the-art military for the basis of being openly aggressive with Provecta. The PfM plans to redistribute investments from primarily Amt für Bildung der Kinder von Gelaßenheit to fund the growth in the military. While the PfM had been a fringe party since its creation, they have been steadily garnering more votes since the election of 545.
- Party of Greater, generally shortened to PoG, is a fringe pro-Provectan party that seeks to strengthen their international relations with Provecta and to open Gelaßenheit's borders to allow for a greater influx of Provectan goods and immigrants. PoG has never claimed any relation or belief in the Twin Gods Plyy, but they are generally understood to be supportive of the Ecclesia Plyydric.
- Zusammen in Alles (Catresaelic: Together in Everything) is a fringe anti-government party that seeks to reduce Gelaßenheit's power and control over Gelaßers and the market. They aim to have a more local, community based form of leadership where government owned entities are given back to the individual communities.
