Ergátis
Ergátis comprise the vast majority of employees within the Ecclesia Plyydric, as it is the all encompising term and official job title for a wide range of different positions that all fulfill the same, general need; back-end, behind the scenes workers. They can be hired for a near endless amount of reasons, some of which (but not limited to) are as follows:
- Logistical Support,
- Financial,
- Accounting,
- Managerial,
- Writers and Scribes,
- Statistitions,
- Manual Labourers,
- Construction Workers,
- Maintanence Workers,
- Information Technology Workers,
- Secretarial and Receptionists,
- Delivery Drivers, and countless others.
Within the Ergátis, there are large hierarchies within all the different branches or subdivisions as well as intra-branch hierarchies. An individual can start and end their career within the Ecclesia as an Ergátis, that doesnt mean they were not promoted or given ample oppourtunity for upward mobility. Due to the sheer scope and size of the Ecclesia Plyydric, the need for well trained, devoted employees to remain as branch, team, or architypal managers is immense; but they are effectively and consistently rewarded for it. It is well known that while Ergátis jobs may be quite hard, they have always paid well and provide a wealth of benefits to their employees - especially as they continue to move upwards in the hierarchy. As such, while outwardly a branch manager and a new hire technically have the same job title as "Ergátis", internally, their specific jobs and actual roles are added as quantifiers (as in, the manager for accounting would be referred to as Acc-Manager X, where X would be their last name).
Qualifications
An entry-level Ergátis position requires no qualifications save for a firm belief in the Twin Gods Plyy. Higher level Ergátis positions that are more specific or nuanced will require certain levels of education or a sufficient level of knowledge that they may be tested on. However, the Ecclesia Plyydric will provide requisit education and training for in-house employees applying and accepted into their new jobs.
Accoutrements & Equipment
Ergátis are required to wear possition-appropriate attire that is provided by the Ecclesia Plyydric. This attire can range from simple smocks for construction workers to high-quality tailored suits or dresses for branch managers.
