Bardor

Bardor is the central homeland of the elven race. It is ruled over by a council of elder undying counselors and baelnorn. Non-elves are forbidden from visiting Bardor with very few exceptions; the elven navy - the greatest in the world - ensures that no one without the correct permissions draws too close. Most elves in the world hail from Bardor; non-Bardorian elves are considered 'heretics' and completely disconnected from their ancestral spirits. No non-native-born elf has ever been granted admittance or acceptance among their island kin.
Certain captains among the Alq'a are allowed to conduct trade with Bardor, but only at a single port.
