Big Ralph was still a big teddy bear of a guy. He looked like he would lift cars off of small children.Big Ralph is as much a staple among the Bridge Kids as "Hound Dog" is. He has been homeless or nearly so for half his life. Unfortunately, his education suffered due to his long-term experience with poverty, as well as undiagnosed learning disabilities. He is aware of this lack in his life, and he does what he can to prevent others from enduring the same.
Ralph had decided that it was his job while I was pregnant to find my baby some books.
Physical Description
General Physical Condition
Large and well-muscled, but without the definition that would come from intentionally working out. Ralph has the slightly hefty body of one who is strong by nature and lifestyle.

Ralph started helping out at the soup kitchen just to be helpful. His kind nature and reliability soon landed him a permenant job as a sort of janitor, bouncer and heavy lifter.
Thanks to Loren, the manager of the soup kitchen, Ralph also has a job as a janitor in the Indianapolis school system.

Accomplishments & Achievements
Despite his many setbacks, Ralph has managed to carve out a living for himself.
Intellectual Characteristics
Ralph is very compassionate but a little slow. This and a combination of learning disabilities gives him a naiave, even ignorant, quality. His accepting nature has made him the target of a few manipulators, but he has a large collection of loyal and savvy friends who keep an eye on him and warn him of such people.
