House Zau'urden

Last but not least, House Zau'urden is the 13th and final house in The Matron Council of Drissab'aun. And it might be the oddest, too, as it is one of the newest and born out after a somewhat succesful slave rebellion. The slaves were able to organize a rebellion, and as a result the matrons of the city had to make compromises so they were able to keep their own seats in the council. The slaves wanted freedom, but instead of abolishing slavery completely, a new noble house was born, which would act as the voice for the oppressed. Thus, House Za'urden was born. The members of Za'urden consist mostly of the slaves who took part in the rebellio and their descendants, but come freethinkers and rebellious minds even from higher houses has joined in. Apart from House Maegarrak, House Za'urden is the only house to accept people into their family outside the main ruling bloodline.
