The Fire Fragment - Yuuki

Yuuki is the Fragment of Fire. It takes the form of a katana with a golden blade and a handle wrapped in reddish cloth. The tip of it burns with a hot orange flame.

History

Yuuki used to be one of the many powerful magical artifacts crafted by the Aurutopia kitsune. It sat as a relic at the dead center of the Temple of the Four Flames for many decades, untouched by mortal hands. To keep it from being abused, elder priests at the temple would tell their disciples that Yuuki was cursed; that to even touch it would bring about a thousand years of suffering.

When The War of the Wendigoes started, the young priestess Altairia of Foxfire went against all warnings and took it from its place inside the temple. She then used it to defeat a pack of wendigoes that had come to menace the Nekomata Islands. After defeating them, the priesthood gave her permission to embark on a quest to defeat The Heart of Darkness, ending the War once and for all.

Significance

Yuuki is the Fragment of Fire, one of six Fragments of Anima that were used to defeat the wendigo threat in the War of the Wendigoes.

When signs of the Heart of Darkness's return begin to appear, Jack Thunder and all his friends go in search of Yuuki and the other Fragments of Anima to defeat it once more.
