Personal history
Growing up with a single mother, and always having to be hidden away, Samantha is used to being forgotten and left out. Her mother, an explorer who helped rule over Tantani City for a while in Year 110, tried to get her sent to The Academy of Exploration but the Empire wouldn't let her through, she is not registered in the Book of Names . After appealing to the Council, her mother got her placed into the Teacher's Academy where she studied to become a teacher of Exploration. Samantha was made fun of for not being able to live up to her mother's name but she excelled in classes. She worked diligently and even made top 5% of her class, but was still not a registered citizen and thus had no place for her to end up after graduation. When one of the instructors at The Academy of Exploration passed away mysteriously while wandering into the Lower Merchant Row, Samantha now had an opening. She is currently working as a teacher for ages 5-9. She teaches them the basics of map reading, survival, and conquest; all things that she has never done, but wished she could have. She dreams of one day going out of Grenagem and exploring with her mother, but it is likely to never happen. Samantha is also obsessed with fresh bread, a food generally reserved for men that can be found in certain parts of the [Upper Merchant Row].
