Pipillin the Observer

Pipillin the Observer, known as Pipillin the Silent or Pipillin the Quiet by the unenlightened, is a historian and chronicler living in a little hut carved out of a tree, on the border between Hilael and Aštoria. He has always been around, nobody knows much about him, and he has been old since as long as anyone can remember. Pipillin dresses strangely, in some loose plain robes. He has never been heard speaking, and seldom interacts with others.
Pipillin always seems to be around whenever important events are happening in the world. From afar, he observes and writes down every detail, giving information not only on historical events, but on the anthropology and cultures of these lands. Pipillin makes a living by selling copies of his manuscripts to the great universities, libraries, and merchants of the world. He allows nobody inside his hut, and in it, there is said to be the answers to the most fundamental questions and the origin of the universe. Though his name is said to have a majestic and holy definition in its original language, its meaning has been lost to time.
