Circle of Unity
A Light in the Darkness
Formation:
For years, the Druids have operated independently in their circles, seeking only the balance of nature and peace in their lands. With the death of Alder and the appointing of Iris as Archdruid of the Forest, discussions were opened with the Circles of the Sea, Plains, and Mountains about a cooperative effort towards maintaining the balance in the face of the Dramvel Invasion. These discussions were aided by three Druids from the Circle of Dreams, who brought knowledge of the old ways of the Druids and the appointing of a Druid Lord and the Unity. The Circle of Dreams Durids were an elf named Khalina, a firbolg named Trisrora Yento, and a Goliath named Mirnia. Excitement was rampant among these circles at the possiblity of a united future and hope in the face of overwhelming odds. Unfortunately, talks began to break down when the Circle of the Mountains withdrew and declared the Unity movement to be a disgrace to their ways. The Circles of Sea and Plains almost withdrew, believing there could be no unity without the Circle of the Mountains. They were encouraged (and slightly surprised) when the Firbolg's revealed to them Druidic Circles that they had never heard of, and that might join in the future. They insisted that the start of a Circle of Unity was necessary to face the dark times ahead. And so the Circles of Sea, Plains, and Forest joined together and with unanimous agreement, they appointed the very stunned Iris as their first Druid Queen. As of the year 1010 A.Z., Druid Queen Iris has helped bring additional stability to the wildlands of Redmont, in addition to helping settle thousands of refugees in the towns and areas around Redmont.
