Baztek
The stronghold of the Northern kingdom of Dwarves.
This grand city is located at the end of a massive valley that feeds the Frienze river. The valley's walls are dotted with smaller homesteads of Stouts and Dwarven farmers that tend to goat herds and terraced fields.
The entrance to the city itself is flanked by two gigantic statues of past kings and the doors themselves are giant slabs of granite rock many thousands of tons. The gateway provides both a water passageway for the many barges that ply the river and a great road for wagons and cavalry.
Up near the crowns of the kings rookeries for some of the larger avian predators are maintained by the Dwarves as mounts.
