Varzmilius had reached knowledge of the 10th circle of magic during his time in Evas Anora, but was only able to cast 9th circle spell after returning to Aloth.

Personal history
Varzmilius K'Dack was the youngest male among his siblings and originally supposed to be sacrificed by his mother as their house already had two males, but Varzmilius was born with signs of magic and his sorcerous origins saved him from being sacrificed. He was raised by his older sister Galverna and later sent to apprentice at the Nether Tower in Cheldulnar where he served as a loyal apprentice to the great arcanist Molrus Rhyl’Vadran. Varzmilius would excel in his studies and make his house proud by becoming an incredibly powerful arcanist. He was later given the position as high arcanist of Evas Anora, serving directly under Regent Myrice A'Daragon and later under Malice A’Daragon when her mother died. He would become a powerful and influential member of Evas Anora and the male with most power in the city. He would often act out of his place to other high priestesses and sometimes even Malice, but he would often end up with no punishment through magical manipulation using his enchantment powers or sheer charisma. Varzmilius would at some point during his life find guidance from the drow goddess Kiaransalee, who gifted him many abilities, including making Kezmyr A'Daragon a lich later when Moander's plague struck them. He kept his worship of the goddess secret, and those who learnt of it would either be killed or have their memory of the events erased, as he often did for lesser things as well. Varzmilius would often use his enchantment power to take advantage of female drow he fancied, he was even rumored to have used his powers on Malice, something which was further proved when Vaatrak A'Daragon was born, a drow who looked much more like him than the A'Daragon patron Kezmyr.
Varzmilius would survive Moander's plague and enter the astral plane with Malice and her family, but on the other hand would not be as lucky. When they awoke in A4 652 he would serve Malice loyally and help her till the end. When a group of adventurers came to Cheldulnar in search of Malice's daughter Imrea who had saved the drow, he helped her ambush them. He managed to kill both Illidan Windsor and Zairo , but was quickly beheaded by Luther Benson, something which ended his once great house for good.

Varzmilius served under Molrus Rhyl’Vadran for five decades.
