Tiefling

Basic Information

Biological Traits

Tieflings vary much from individual to individual. The most common skin tones for tieflings are red and purple but there are a few that have been white, black, green, blue, indigo or even pink. Just like their skin color their horns also vary much as some might have giant horns with curves and others might have small straight horn and some might not have horns at all. Tieflings also have tails and it is very uncommon for tiefling not to have tails. They also often have normal human legs but can be born with goat-like legs. They also have claws and long fangs. Because of the many possibilities for tieflings, it is hard to define truly what a tiefling should look like.

Growth Rate & Stages

Tieflings mature at the same rate as humans but often live a dew years longer up to a few decades.

Ecology and Habitats

Tieflings can like humans adapt to live almost anywhere, but their resistance to fire makes it much easier for them to adapt to hotter more arid areas.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Tieflings are born with a greater sight as they can see a great distance in darkness.

Civilization and Culture

Naming Traditions

Tieflings have a special way of naming themself. Many tieflings have something called a virtue name which is a self given name related to their personality traits or dreams. It is often their last name or middle name depending on if they come from a family who they are close with or if they are alone in the world. The names have a lot of meaning to tieflings, but some have abandoned these virtue names as life in certain places like the Trugarian Empire has gotten much better for them. These names are often things like Sly, Truth, Care, Song and so on.

Interspecies Relations and Assumptions

Tieflings can breed with the same races as humans can, but the children of tieflings will always be tieflings. These children will often resemble their tiefling parents with some of their non-tiefling parents traits or characteristics. The tiefling gene does not weaken when bred with humans or other races as the gene is very mutatable and will always come out on top.
