Demographics

The inhabitants of Redwater is very diverse as it is very small and isolated in the swamps. The people who live there are very diverse and have a few more beast races than most cities within the empire normally would.

Government

The village is part of the Trugarian Empire and is governed by a mayor chosen by the people and accepted by the Empire. There is also a colonel located in the village to oversee both the village and the people.

Defences

Redwater has no real defenses except the swamp itself. There is also a very low guard number in Redwater only holding around 100 guards in total.

Industry & Trade

Redwater's biggest trade is made up of salt, fish fodder like worms and insect, lumber, dire dodos, honey, dyes and there are a few farms with reed and some other types of crops.

History

The town of Redwater was built very late in the third age. It is unknown who founded it but when the calamity hit the village was mostly evacuated until the fourth aged started when it was reclaimed by wandering people and then later made a part of the Trugarian Empire.

Architecture

Redwater is a very special village in the way the housings are built. Most of the houses are built on pillars standing between 50 and 100 centimeters above the mud and soil. The buildings are also connected with wooden bridges for people to get around on when the water rises.

Geography

Redwater is located in the middle of Warlough Slugh which is a thick and dangerous swamp. The village got its name from the murky red water which makes up most of the swamp. The village also experiences heavy floods during the first two months of summer which often leaves a few buildings ruined. The village also lives close the shadow of Barnigan hills which makes clouds gather over the city making rain and dark clouds common sight.

Natural Resources

The swamp gives redwater a few natural resources, these include; swamp trees which grows fast and can be made into planks and burned for firewood. The swamp is also very rich is salt which makes salt gathering a very easy and stable job.
