Reign
Raurik's reign is known as gray years as his reign was all over. He inherited the throne from his mother at the age of 50 in A4 154. She had ruled for a long time and taught him how to take over after she die and left him with much wisdom and experience as he often held court while she was not in the capital. All her training however was not enough for Raurik to not hate the Empire or its people. His mother had died during a battle against the clans of Zadukh. The empire was supposed to join the battle but decided to not intervene as they saw it as a loss. Nobody survived the onslaught of orcs and Raurik blamed this disaster on the empire. His reign was efficient when it came to dealing with orcs and keeping the families in check, but he worked against the empire at every oppurtunity. His hatred kept growing and when he saw an oppurtunity to strike against them he did. He claimed that Arnhelm was legal property of the Revendell crown and besieged it. This would be a great mistake as he would die after holding the city for nothing more than two weeks.
