Leena Whitesun was the second born child of Sir Mordrem Whitesun and Lady Zharina Whitesun. She had an older brother Lasairan Whitesun who was their heir. She has little memory of her parents and brother since they all died in A4 630 during the Crimson Baptism in Fangorn. She was left an orphan and the new Lady of Cresthall. She was given council by other lords and the Whitehall family supported her much during this time, she even spent most of her childhood in Revendell as a guest of honor at Whitehall Keep. She became very close with the Whitehalls and King Terrowin III Whitehall supported her claim to Cresthall, even though she was a kid and a girl. His support made sure that Cresthall would be hers without question.
