Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Aidwin was beyond peak human physicality because of the venthir serum he was injected with. He was tall and muscular with a very athletic build.

Facial Features

Aidwin had a strong face, with a wide jaw and chin. He has piercing eyes and many scars on his face, the largest one was from behind his right ear to his cheek, where he had lost half his ear.

Special abilities

Like the other venthirs, Aidwin had certain special abilities from his venthir mutation. He had an affinity for hemomancy like the others, but was much more focused on skill, craftsmanship and preparation instead of magic.

Apparel & Accessories

Aidwin wore an impressive set of half-plate armour which he had made himself from melted down pieces of previous venthir gear. He also often wore a massive hooded cloak around himself to better hide his equipment while in public areas.

Specialized Equipment

Aidwin was an extremely impressive swordsman who had trained with blades his entire life. He was regarded as the best swordsman of his generation. He prefered dual wielding a longsword and an arming sword.

Personal history

Aidwin was originally born Erik Daelienn to a common family who lived in Cenndell in the north of Revendell. His family was nothing special, but he was raised by a blacksmith father and a tailor mother, alongside his two sister Edina and Indrina. Aidwin was an efficient and helpful young boy who worked with his father and would often stand up for his younger sisters in the village he grew up in. There was nothing special about his upbringing, but he taught himself lucky because of the family he cared for, this, however, would change in A4 604 when their village became the target of an orc attack during the last months of the Bone Maw invasion. Most of the village was left destroyed, burnt and pillage while the people was killed, taken or violated by the orcs. Aidwin was miraculously left alive after the slaughter, having been knocked out and grievously wounded and lost part of his ear. His family had been killed and their home was destroyed, he didn't know what to do, so he waited in his village while burying his family, hoping for the Revendell army to arrive. It was, however, not the army who would come but a young woman instead. Her name was Cerys Shelak and she was a venthir. She helped him bury his family and then gave him the choice to come with her back to her home where he could start a new life. Aidwin had no reason to stay, so he joined Cerys who would become his guardian, and the two would grow to form a sibling relationship while he was trained to become a venthir for the next years of his life. He survived their initiation and became a venthir by the age of 14.
