The Hand of Maddox
The Hand of Maddox is an order of assassin priests that are followers of Kelune. They target those that they are paid to as well as those that are deserving their wrath. They often find their targets using The Storm Runners. Because both the Storm Runners and the Hand follow the same goddess there is a lot of crossover. Many members of the Hand of Maddox are priests of the Storm Runners known as Storm Herald. In fact every Storm Runner marks their home so that a member of the Hand of Maddox knows where he or she can get shelter if they need it. Every member of the Hand of Maddox have a hand shaped brand that sparks with small bursts of electricity during a storm
Structure
Set up much like the The Storm Runners, the Hand of Maddox has several branches spread out on all four continents and the various islands that are mostly independent but still report to a single person.
Public Agenda
Their goal is to be the lightning that strikes the deserving. If they find someone deserving of their blade they will stop at nothing to give it to them.
Assets
The Hand of Maddox owns and operates the Starlight Circus and use it as a traveling headquarters. The members that stay with the circus are the elite of the elite.
History
The Hand Of Maddox was unintentionally founded by Killian Maddox in the earliest days of the Crystal Age. Killian Maddox was groomed to be the champion of Kelune by the Goddess hEventuallyerself so that someone could carry on her vengeance in her place. Eventually, people that he avenged began to pledge their life to him so that they may join his cause and so The Hand of the Storm was born. The Hand of The Storm carried out the will of Kelune for years until Killian Maddox walked into a raging storm and was never seen again. After that Killian's disciples renamed the order to the Hand of Maddox to honor their teacher.
