Kelune's Creation

Long ago back in the First Age, there was a mortal named Brendana Helias who was born and raised in a small port town whose name has been lost to time. Brendana had a happy life with a large fishing family. In short, she lived a perfect life. Brendana was set to marry the son of the town's leader, James Quilibor. Their wedding was to take place at sea, which was a tradition in the Quilibor Family or so James told Brendana. They had two ships accompanying them for protection from pirates. They sailed far into the ocean they began to prepare for the ceremony. No one noticed that a huge storm that was passing by on the horizon stopped as if to curiously watch the events. As soon as the marriage became official, men from the escorting ships began boarding the main ship. The men began to attempting to round up the Helias family as James explained that he and his father have sold the Helias family to these pirates to do with as they pleased in exchange for killing a political rival in order to stay in power. Of course, the proud Helias refused to let this happen and fought back. In the following chaos, no was noticed that the storm that was on the edge of the horizon had moved directly over them. Brendana watched in horror as one by one her family was slaughtered by the pirates. As the body of her father crumpled she unleashed an animalistic cry of pain and rage as she slashed at her husband carving ribbons of crimson across his face. As this happened the massive storm, now covering the entire sky, unleashed bolts of blood-red lightning that carved through the air as if they were being scratched there. James Quilibor stumbled backward in shock and pain and then....froze. In fact, as brendana looked around she saw that everything had frozen in place except the rolling clouds. As she looked around she saw her mother being dragged away from her father's still body.... one of her sisters being cornered by two pirates.... her two younger brothers... one unconscious and the other about to fall overboard... headless. A moment passed. Then another. Nothing happened. Nothing moved except the clouds. There was no other than the roar of thunder. Something that seemed to...comfort her. With the next flash of lightning, she watched from above as she scratched James' face. With the thunder, she heard a booming yet comforting voice. This voice told her that she had potential. A spark of something. This voice....the voice of the storm made her an offer. The storm was old. Tired. It would give Brendana its power. Its very essence. She would become something greater. Give her the power to get revenge. In return, the storm gets to rest. With that Brendana simply nodded and time began to resume. Everyone may not have noticed the first couple of lightning bolts when the whole thing started but everyone noticed as a column of multicolored lightning engulfed Brendana. When the lightning ended Brendana was gone and in her place stood someone completely different. Someone powerful. And so Kelune was born imbued with the essence of the Divine Storm a being made out of concentrated divine power from the time of the First War. This taller woman with a shock of white in her long flowing hair, well-toned muscles that randomly sparked with tiny bits of electricity of all colors. She then waved her hand and bolts of lightning stuck every last pirate and Quilibor.   This is the story of Kelune's creation.
