The Great Bleak begins, a plague that infected so many, that the only option was to send those infected into the Outlands.

The Great Bleak first began in Vold before spreading to other nations and continents. While it has largely been eradicated, there are still some accounts of it in more deprived areas of the world, such as The Blightwood or in the slums of Frostfell's cities.
