Session 12 Recap
General Summary
Reeling from battle the party took the opportunity to rest, retrain and re-arm. Archie mentioned a job, but they'd likely want an additional team member, so he would be on the hunt.
Within a few days he introduced the party to Lucian
Archie was in need of a favor from the criminal known as "Hush".
The party would meet with Hush on his airship "The Golden Fancy".
On board they where treated to expensive alcohols and a charcuterie board that was likely more expensive then any normal person could afford
The task ahead of them was simple, deal with some smugglers that dont have his permission to be in business. Oh and they are mostly Wererats with a Wereshark.
Sal Maclennane scouted the cove, getting a lay of the land during the day, and when night came the group decided to overtly lay in wait, pretending to be fellow smugglers or beach bound revellers.
They waited for a few hours before the previously mentioned Wereshark strolled onto land. An extended exchange took place where the two parties argued who was meant to be using the cove. But battle was inevitable.
The extended discussion had been somewhat of a ruse to allow the Weresharks Ratty allies to sneakily get into position, as combat broke out 3 Wererats fell from the cliff face into the parties numbers.
The Wererats were soft but with good positioning and teamwork could throw out some heavy blows, whilst the Wereshark was tough, able to take a hit and deal powerful strikes back.
The battle was tough with some heavy hits against party members, the newbie, Lucian was repeatedly struck and taken down for a brief time, meanwhile Dok took a deep cut that might have some prolonged consequences, However the party was ultimately successful.
