Anvil's Edge is a large, and completely dried-out lake in the middle of one of the largest deserts on Allucimere. This lake once used to be an oasis of life in a vast ocean of deathly heat. Long ago, many towns called these long-gone harsh shores home, and they built impressive structures from the sands. But that was long, long ago. Now, nothing remains of the great lake save for a few gallons of near-boiling water at the very bottom, and sand. Sand stretching out for miles and miles, covering up the ruins of whatever peoples once lived here. There might still be great treasure buried deep below mysterious crypts or dungeons that nobody has ever laid eyes on for millenia. For nobody dares to venture out near Anvil's Edge, even suicidal adventurers. There are better places to die in, and the rest of the ocean of sand is already hot enough. There is no need to venture deeper into the furnace.

Fauna & Flora

Anvil's Edge, also known as the Scorched Furnace, is one of the hottest places in the world, and its temperature often reaches over 60° C or 140° F. There is nothing normal about this place. it is safe to say that absolutely nothing can survive down here in this scorching hellhole. Its heat is too great. So great that nature could never have made this. No, Anvil's Edge is the product of magic, ancient and powerful. But who was it that cursed this once-great lake? Could it have been an enraged mage, mocked and insulted by the local peoples who took his revenge on anyone who lived here by cursing their lake? Possibly... but the answer might never arise from these sandy depths...
