The Banking Guild
The Banking Guild is the largest financial institution in the world. Most larger settlements across the Human Kingdom and the Free Cities had some form of representation of the Banking Guild within them.
Through means of magical communication and protection, they were able to keep ledgers running across the word and so had an essential grip on the finances of most nations, extending lines of credit, brokering loans and deals between other institutions and even being a service for the common traders and merchants, providing a safer way of storing currency.
Structure
The central Guild House in Eskain is the headquarters of the Banking Guild, where the leader and the highest accounting staff and the crypto-arcanists, work and all the stored wealth of its customers is transferred to.
Major settlements will have a Banking House, where they can access the services of the Guild. Each Banking house is staffed by a Treasurer, a few of the banking wizards and tellers.
Public Agenda
The goal of the Banking Guild is to allow trade between nations by being a central hub for currency and wealth, allowing for transfers and communications to run seamlessly.
History
Formed before the Human Kingdoms were founded, the Banking Guild was a driving force in bringing the stability that led to the Grand Council of Kings forming.
Over the years, their influence spread across the world, keeping branches in every major city and dealing with all of the differnet species of the world, they would never turn down a customer wishing to make use of its services,
